Welcome to the official website of the 2019 American International Piano Competition and Festival, which will take place between May 23 and 26, 2019 at the beautiful campus of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
I would like to invite concert pianists to register for this inaugural competition. If you are a piano teacher, amateur, music lover, or classical music supporter, please consider joining us for some of our exciting events.
The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities. We want to offer all of our competitors the opportunity to present their technical prowess, interpretive ideas, and artistic expression to the judges and the audience. The choice of repertoire is yours.
This event will be held as part of the preliminary stage of the 2021 "Classic Piano" International Piano Competition. The five best competitors from our competition will be invited to Dubai in 2021 to compete for an astonishing total prize fund of 300,000 Euro – with a first prize of 100,000 Euro. The competition also offers a great chance to visit Washington DC and explore its amazing cultural and historical sites, including museums, galleries, memorials, monuments, theaters and restaurants.

We are proud to welcome you to our first edition of the American International Piano Festival and Competition 2019, which we are organizing in Washington city, the capital of the United Stated of America, a beautiful city of amazing musicians, artists, painters and many other creative mindset people.
This international festival will also comprise of an international piano competition, providing an opportunity and a new effective platform for young pianists, not only to show their technique, skills and professionalism but also their personality and knowledge when interpreting the compositions,which they will be performing.
The American International Piano Festival and Competition 2019 makes part of the big series of 14 international piano competitions where 5 best participants of each competition will be invited to participate at the “Classic Piano” International Piano Competition 2021 within the framework of the “InClassica” International Music Festival.
The mission of the European Foundation for Support of Culture through the presentation of this Festival is to re-discover, promote, support and document the great masters for keyboard while providing audiences with a unique musical experience; to build the audiences of the future to help ensure the very existence of classical music.
With so many artistic achievements to its credit, the European Foundation for Support of Culture looks forward towards the continued success of its classical music projects in the future.
